This week the Roche team across the globe united for the annual Children’s Walk - the largest employee-driven fundraising event, dedicated to empowering communities and transforming the lives of children around the world.
Supporting Young People Affected by Cancer
The Ireland team participated in a 5km walk in Citywest Business Campus and raised funds for CanTeen Ireland, a nationwide support group for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years who have or have had cancer. The organisation helps members regain their confidence and navigate the emotional, social, and physical impacts of cancer treatment.
Claire Jordan, 2026 Children's Walk Lead at Roche Ireland, highlighted the impact of the employee initiative:
The annual Children's Walk is a cornerstone of our community engagement at Roche Ireland. Partnering with CanTeen Ireland allows us to support young people navigating cancer diagnoses. Our employees' dedication, combined with Roche's matching funds, ensures we can help sustain vital services like peer-support meetings, therapeutic weekends, and counseling. Thank you to our team for joining the walk and supporting this worthy organisation.

The Power of Shared Action
Every year, Roche employees around the world participate in the Children's Walk. The funds raised locally by the Irish affiliate are matched by Roche, with the total proceeds divided between local projects—such as CanTeen Ireland—and global initiatives focused on children ’s health, education, and nutrition in developing nations.
