Roche has teamed up with the Neurological Alliance of Ireland to launch a campaign, Patients Deserve Better, calling for neurology services for 5 regional hospitals across the country: Bantry, Wexford, Portlaoise, Letterkenny and Mayo.
The ambition of this campaign is to ensure people across the country have improved geographical access to a Consultant Neurologist. Some people with chronic long term neurological conditions are regularly travelling between 60 and 112km to see a Neurologist.
